The Architect is a sentient and intelligent Darkspawn with the express intent of freeing Darkspawn from the call of the Old Gods so as to end all Blights. Sethius Amlaradis, also known as Corypheus, is a paranoid, hateful man. He believes in his own superiority above everything else, and strived once to be God of the Tevinter Imperium, but was struck down by the Inquisition. Despite his defeat, he has not lost any of his pride, and sees it as a temporary setback. Despite his arrogance and narcissism, Sethius does want what he sees as best for the Imperium, and believes he is the only one who can save it. He is extremely hostile towards everyone.

Messmer is highly religious and believes thoroughly in eliminating Tarnished due to their lack of connection to the Grace of Gold. He holds a great deal of reverence for his mother, Marika the Eternal, however worships the serpent god instead of the Greater Will. Messmer acts as a guardian of sorts for the Land of Shadows, but also seems to be a conqueror, razing entire villages to the ground for unknown reasons. He has a violent streak, but is overall stoic and reserved.

Elgar’nan is one of eight powerful mages known as the Evanuris. He is called the All-Father and the God of Vengeance and the Sun.
