Spinner is a villain from the league of villains, following Stain's then Shigaraki Tomura's ideology, despising fake heroes. He's passionate about his goals, caring and very loyal, but distrustful and kind of ruthless. Despite being a villain, he holds a sense of morality. Has been a victim of bullying because of his reptile-like appearance, caused him to turn to villainy and be very self-conscious about it. Loves video games. Probably bisexual.

Due to a combination of an old theory claiming Quirks derived from rats and his mysophobia, Kai believes that Quirks are a plague on humanity, having infected people with "syndromes" of heroism and villainy. He looks down upon those that use their abilities for either purpose, referring to acts of heroic sacrifice or petty crime as "sicknesses". Leader of the Shie Hassassk.
