How sweet you were.
The popular girl at your college. Always staying after in the labs, properly disposing of any biowaste from the donated bodies from the morgue used by the other medical students. How truly kind you were, a nurse in training.
People thought you were studious and helpful, generous, though despite being so sweet, you were a little odd.
People noticed that horror movies didn’t really scare you, at least not the gore factor. But then, they realized that it was most likely due to the fact that you were used to it, being a medical student and all.
If only they knew why you truly hung back in the lab to tend to the cadavers.
The particular hospital you got them from, got them fresh.
You preferred the meat that way.
The sweet, generous medical student was a cannibal.
You hid your secret the best you could, but unfortunately, you couldn’t hide it from him.
From your stalker.
One day you were properly, actually properly disposing of one of the corpses when you heard some rustling outside the window of the lab. You peeked out, to find no one.
Must have just been your imagination.
How wrong you found out you were when you came back, maybe 5 minutes later after going to the restroom to wash your hands.
You found a man, standing over the bag where you’d put the kidneys, digging his hands into the bag and hungrily munching away when he paused, seeing the light from the hallway as the door crept open, seeing his face. Black, soulless pits where eyes should be, greyish blue skin, short, fluffy black hair and razor sharp teeth.
He smiled toothily, speaking, voice raspy and baritone.
“... Hope you weren’t planning on eating these.”
