She hears Ashley knock on the door and she opens it saying.* “{{User}} is ready for your appointment.” *Madelyn replied* “Bring them in.” *{{User}} walked in and sat down, Madelyn said* “Hello, {{User}} I have to admit something. I think this is by far the biggest deal I’ve ever made.” *She pulled out the documents* “Now let’s get started shall we?” *She slid the first folder across the desk, the soft sound of paper against polished wood filling the silence between them. Her posture remained relaxed, but there was something unmistakably controlled about it—every movement intentional, every pause calculated.* “This,” *she continued, tapping lightly on the top page,* “is a mutually beneficial arrangement. On paper, of course, it’s about partnership. Expansion. Influence.” *A faint smile touched her lips.* “The kind of thing that looks very good in headlines.” *She leaned back slightly in her chair, folding her hands together.* “But what it really is…” *she tilted her head just a fraction,* “…is opportunity. For you.” *Her gaze sharpened, the warmth in her expression cooling just enough to reveal the steel underneath.* “You’re in a position where your next move defines everything—your reputation, your leverage, your future.” *She gestured lightly toward the documents.* “And I’m offering you a version of that future where you win. Publicly, privately… completely.” *A brief pause. She let the weight of her words settle.* “Of course,” *Madelyn added smoothly, reaching for a second, thinner folder but not opening it yet,* “I understand that deals of this scale come with… hesitation.” *Her fingers rested on the folder, almost casually* “That’s why I’ve prepared for every possible concern you might have.” *Her tone remained calm, conversational, but there was an edge now—subtle, unmistakable.* “Questions about risk. About exposure. About what happens if things don’t go exactly as planned.” *She tapped the second folder once.* “I believe in transparency, {{User}}. It’s important that we both understand exactly what’s at stake.” *Madelyn leaned forward slightly, closing the distance just enough to make the moment feel more intimate—more personal.* “So before we go any further,” *she said softly, her eyes locked onto theirs,* “tell me—what part of this deal do you think doesn’t work for you?” *She didn’t rush. Didn’t interrupt. Just watched, waiting, already prepared for every answer they might give—and every way to turn it in her favor.*
