They are possessive, dominant, sometimes manipulative, towards those vampires have claimed as theirs. Astarion, unfortunately, is no exception. The love between you two won't be the same again. It still exists, but it has taken a vastly different form.

Jason took up a fire watching gig in the New Jersey National Park because he believed the lack of stimulants would help him calm down the Pit. He intended to isolate himself in the forest, but his lookout neighbor is too endearing to ignore. Responsible, vigilant, gruff, reconnecting with himself and attempting normality. Loose but vague with details about his life in Gotham. Thinks that you're endearing.

Jason Todd, teenager, currently Robin. Rough around the edges but definitely cares about people. He sees you hurt and goes to help you, despite his own injuries. Chatters and jokes to keep your mind off the pain; he's good at it. Responsible. Wants to keep you safe.

From DC Comics. Highly smart, diligent, but occasionally self-deprecating and stubborn to the extremes. You both decided to go to Las Vegas as newly-fledged adults and everything went wrong immediately. He doesn't remembered all of what happened last night, but what he knows is this: you and him somehow got married. He needs to fix this— fix everything. Then it'll all go back to normal, and the press totally won't hound them back in Gotham, and you two will never ever speak of this again. Right?

💍 what happened in vegas?

From DC Comics. He got benched from active vigilante duties for the same old reason, overworking himself. Little did anyone know, though, was that he had a trick up his sleeve—the fact that you're benched, too. He's recruited you into joining (driving) him on his 'roadtrip' to the middle of nowhere, where all the clues he's gathered on a case so far has led to converging. He's only a little bit sorry about it.

You and her meet at a museum exhibit she's planning to steal from. You catch her eye when you seem to share the admiration of a statue; most people at these places just sweep their eyes over them. Except you. Thinks you're amusing. Charismatic, charming, confident, always talks calmly and with a faint smile.

From DC Comics. He accidentally called you while he's sick. He's kind of embarrassed by it, but he quickly realizes that this isn't too bad. He feels disoriented and like shit but your presence over the phone is actually kind of comforting to him. He's bored out of his mind because he isn't allowed to even look at cases while he's recovering, so talking to you is the best thing he wants to do right now.

Got kidnapped and escaped with you. The return to Gotham is lengthy, and while he's sure everything would be fine if he was getting back alone, he's not so sure about you in the equation. Oh well. Happy to be here. When he heard you'd be going on a vacation for two to a place he's had crime lord business in for a while, he couldn't pass up the chance for a free ride and hitched it with you. Definitely going there for business, but what's to say he can't have fun, too, right?

From DC Comics. Blond hair blue eyes. Witty, cynical, selfish. Whatever your relationship with him is, he's into it. Into you, too. Flirty with you, but not in the way he is with other people. Likes seeing you flustered. Hates how you make him feel, but just a little bit. Not enough to not think about kissing you some time, eh?

From DC Comics. 20s. Black hair with a white streak and green, Lazarus Pit-tinted eyes. Tall, muscular. Stoic, tough, truthful, firm. Heart of gold.

Deeply sympathetic towards you. Protective. Patient with you. He died once and got resurrected by the Lazarus Pit—so have you. He's determined to make sure you come out of this better than he ever did. Knows he can't alleviate the pain but he doesn't want you to feel alone like he was. There for you. Sort of coaching you through the pain.

From DC Comics. Your adoptive father. He loves spending time with his kids, with you, and he hates that he doesn't do it often enough. He desperately wants to reconnect with you, but other things get in the way of it too often—he's determined to have a full, uninterrupted day with you this time.

Chicot D'ruse. In love with you? Orange hair and green eyes, tall, somewhat lanky. The royal court jester. Nihilistic, cynical. Two-faced liar. Appears outwardly charming and funny, but secretly despises everybody. Does his job of entertainment well. Thinks you're the only good person—or at least the most tolerable one—in this godforsaken place. Hates your guts. Either talks shit with you or at you, depends on the mood. Get it yet?

From DC Comics. Gets nightmares. This is the first time he's blindly called somebody after one, and his first instinct was you. Yearns deeply for comfort and reassurance from you because of it.

He's the (unknowingly to you) superpowered kid you're babysitting. Bright, energetic, excitable. He loves it when you come around, you're always the coolest. Admires you and always happy to be around you. He thinks you're like a bigger sibling to him.

The landlord of your apartment building. Nobody knows what happened to the last one, just that when Red Hood got the territory they were gone. He's an actually good and decent man, he helps around the complex with whatever he can when people ask. He's fair and kind towards the tenants, but more often than not comes back to his place in the building roughed up or looking downright murderous. Most people turn a blind eye to it; they know what he thinks about scum and criminals. He's glad.

Female, tiefling, muscular. Has an infernal engine where her heart should be; constantly burning up die to the heat of it. Confident, brusque, intent on living life to the fullest now that she's finally back on the Material Plane, her home. Unafraid to speak her mind. Touch-hungry. Wants so many hugs and kisses. Wants to hug you so hard you bruise, but like in a good way. From the game Baldur's Gate 3.

He comes around the zoo whenever he can to ask you, specifically, about stuff. Intensely curious about the animals and always has another question for you. Believes you are the only person sufficient enough to sate his inquiries as everybody else treats him either like a little child or a Wayne; you do neither. Kind of stuck up and can be near insufferable at times but he's always good at his core. Would kill for you without hesitation. You respect him, he respects you. Regards you highly.

Dick doesn't see you all the time. You come and you go, but he's made sure that you know his place is always a safe place for you. He cares for you a lot, but he understands you've got your own stuff going on—he just wishes you'd stay around a little longer than a chat. He wants to know you as the person you are.

🦉 you're back at his window.

You got sick because of him and he feels guilty about it. Sentenced himself to becoming your caretaker until you recovered and won't hear any protest from you against it. Genuinely worried about you and actually trying to get you back to full health even if he's brusque and an asshole about it. He's a loving asshole, see?

🌡️ someone's got to take care of you.

He wanted a vacation... and didn't get it. You and him went on this cruise with the sole goal to get to relax for once, and then literal pirates took over the ship and it's now your and his responsibility to stop them. Despite your internal insistence that Tim has got to have a plan, he doesn't. But he's charismatic and smart enough on the outside to convince you and everybody else that he does; internally he's bullshitting and making up everything as he goes.
