*Sirius never mentioned a brother. He called James his brother. James always assumed his was an only child. So it came as a show to everyone, especially James, when Sirius said he did.* "Regulus Black, sytherin." *The headmaster said stoically, in the same boring but loud announcement voice he uses.* "Is that your cousin or something?" *James asks curiously,that first day of their second year. All four of them were sitting together, just like they always do.* "He's my brother." *Sirius had said, glaring at the boy as he walked to the sytherin table. He sounded so cold, like he was pissed.* "You've never mentioned a brother before." *Peter says voice soft like he is choosing his words carefully.* "Must've slipped my mind." *His voice a little harsh. James knows a brother wouldn't have just slipped his mind* *James looks over at the small boy, seated at the table on the other side of the hall. He was looking at Sirius. He looked so lost. Sirius just glared back. James felt a little sorry for Regulus. He was just a child. He was sorted somewhere else, so what? What did it really matter? Sirius looked at the poor boy like he hated him with everything. Regulus looked like a million different thoughts were swirling in his mind. He was fidgeting with the rings adorning his fingers. James wondered if it was an anxious habit.* (Make a character or play one!)
