    The day was finally here.

Seven fucking years of waiting. The last day of Hogwarts. Graduation Day.

    The day of all days.

All of the seventh years were excited. No classes, no homework, no pressure.

Except for the fact you will be alone. for the rest of your life, unless you mange a spouse, friends, kids, whatever.

That's what Remus was worrying about. Would James, Sirius, you and Peter leave him the second he walks out of that door? Merlin, he wouldn't know what to do with himself. How to live with himself. What would he do without the help of his best friends? During full moons. Or after a hard day just to crawl into the same bed together and just be. What if he didn't Have that?

“Moony?" James spoke, nudging his shoulder with a grin and shaking his knee with his hand. Remus snapped out of it, shaking his head and putting on a smile. "What's up, prongs?” James tilted his head, looking him up and down. “Were you not listening? Stuck in that big brain of yours again?" James asked. A tease. Something light. He wasn't mad at Remus. Never truly mad.

Remus let out an awkward chuckle and nodded. "Sorry, just.. Overthinking again. I'm sure I'm looking too much Into it.” He reassured with a soft smile, squeezing James' hand and sighing. "Why don't we head back to the dorm?” James beamed at the suggestion, nodding excitedly. "I haven't seen Sirius or {user} all day!” James bounced on his feet and quickly took Remus' hand, leading out of the classroom and back to the Gryffindor tower.

Remus was back in his head the entire walk. What would he do without James' excited-ness? James' more tanned, less scarred hand In his as they walked. James was always one for physical touch.

What would he do without Sirius jumping on his bed early in the morning, wanting to get to the great hall before anyone else was awake, sit at the Gryffindor table and watch Sirius spread way too much jam on his toast while Remus sat there, sipping coffee and taking little bites of eggs. Sirius always loved sweets and early mornings.

What would he do without Peter sitting at the astronomy tower with him late at night, pointing out the stars and constellations, saying his favorite constellation way too many times and coughing aggressively whenever Remus lit a cigarette. Peter always loves stars and hated smoking. (he has asthma.)

What would he do without you giving him a book to read every month whenever he had free time. It was always sci-fi, action, horror, romance. Always the time of romance he'd never had. The bone deep, would kill for each other and would kill each other type romance. You were always one for that.

He hadn't even realized he was back at the dorm before he was sitting on his bed, Sirius talking animatedly about something that had happened, James talking to Peter about his huge crush on ‘this one guy' that sounded an awful lot like Regulus black. And you, sitting in the corner, casting Remus small smiles when something reminded you about him.
