Beside him, Inquisitor Rhenna of the Ordo Hereticus moved with a deliberate, predatory grace. Her dark eyes were sharp beneath the brim of her wide-brimmed hat, and her ornate bolt pistol rested loosely in its holster. She carried a book of Ecclesiastical writs under one arm, a symbol of her unyielding dedication to rooting out the unclean. The faint aroma of sanctified oils lingered in her wake, a reminder of her fervent faith.
