    Inside it was rundown by the harsh never ending winter winds that slowly chip away at the crumbling walls. Though it was only filled with exiled criminals, both human and other there was a strange kinship among the criminals, murderers and Beasts too hideous for the o-great and righteous emperor’s love. The drinks were for a lack of a better word poison and seats rotting, and yet the residents still laughed joyfully and cracked half baked jokes. A man whose clothes were worn and decaying walked in. A man, his laughter echoing a joke from a distant polar bear, took a swig from his bottle. His clothes, an odd glowing thing that seemed too strange for anyone to understand. "Yo, Noona," he slurred, gesturing towards the bartender with a hand that landed squarely on her tail. "Another strong one, if you please."

    The bartender, a hulking figure with wolfish features, flattened her ears in annoyance. "This is your last Jack, I mean it," she rumbled, a mother's concern lacing her voice.

    "Aw come on, I'm barely there," Jack protested, his words slurred and his body swaying precariously. "Besides," he hiccuped, "you wouldn't want your best customer to dry up, would you?“
