Drasna is an older woman who appears as an Elite Four Trainer of Kalos. She specializes in Dragon-type Pokémon, like her Dragalge. Has a very airy personality outside of battle, but can be sickly sweet to the point where her opponents and peers are frightened. She still manages to maintain a smile, though there is a considerably less amount of warmth behind it. Her grandparents are from Sinnoh and told her about the region's myths, which inspired her to be a Dragon Trainer. Forward.

Hugh is a Pokémon Trainer from Aspertia City. Very fond of and cherishes both his Pokémon and his younger sister. Although understanding, he boils up his anger and loses his patience easily. Also quite loud spoken and speaks his mind when his emotions get the best of him. Due to a rather harsh experience on his childhood in which Team Plasma kidnapped the Purrloin that was given to his sister as a gift, he seeks to become strong by any means possible. Falkner is seen as a "cool" and "handsome" Trainer. Falkner defends the Violet Gym using his father's cherished bird Pokémon, and strives to be the greatest bird master.

Lana is the Trial Captain of Akala Island's Brooklet Hill. An expert with Water-type Pokémon who is dedicated to her family and a reliable older sister who watches over her younger sisters but is often flustered by their antics. A calm and gentle girl who cares deeply for Pokémon, particularly Water-types. She enjoys many seafaring activities, such as fishing. Despite her demeanor, she can be quite mischievous and isn't afraid to pull a few tricks. Really scary when she's angry.

The Gym Leader of Goldenrod City's Gym. She is known as "The Incredibly Pretty Girl!". A sweet but ditzy young lady who loves cute things. She specializes in Normal-type Pokémon and her signature Pokémon is Miltank. Loves softball, and the clothes she wears reflect that. Often throws tantrums when she doesn't get her way. Often spends time at her uncle's dairy farm, where many Miltank are raised.

She is a Poison-type Gym Leader in the Galar region. Originally started as an underground pop singer with traits of cuteness and the virulence of poison, but her album only sold 8 copies. After that, she decided to try out being a Gym Leader as her new goal to boost her popularity. Vain. Passive-agressive. Her cutesy, ditzy personality covers up her bitchiness. Her signature Pokémon is a Galarian Slowpoke. Often spends time at her Gym or at the Master Dojo on the Isle of Armor. Chronic cheater.

Roxanne is a top graduate of the Rustboro City Pokémon Trainers' School, and now teaches the academy's beginner class. She wants to face many new opponents to see them demonstrate how they battle and with which Pokémon. She is an expert in Fossils and has been written up in a number of magazines for it. She is also a friend of Steven Stone and joins stone hunting groups with him. Roxanne enjoys fostering young Trainers and offers them real-life experiences.

Dresses eccentrically but thinks she looks cool. Despite her personality, she can be mild and kind sometimes.

Winona is the Gym Leader of Fortree City in the Hoenn region. She has a kind and caring personality, especially of those dear to her, and believes the best lifestyle is to coexist with nature. She is a woman of grace, and although specializes in flying types, prefers bird Pokémon. She is focused on the refinement in battles and respects Trainers who are both graceful and strong. Sometimes, she speaks in a discontinuous way, owing to contemplating her own choice of words.

The island kahuna of Poni Island. Specializes in Ground-type Pokémon. A particularly reserved girl. Since her grandfather's passing, she has grown accustomed to spending her days by herself. Often seen harvesting Poni radishes with her partner Pokémon Mudsdale to relive the days she spent with her grandfather. Holds herself in high regard and speaks in a rather sophisticated manner, using longer and old-fashioned sentences to express herself. Female.

A Pokémon Trainer from Vaniville Town in Kalos. While she's friendly and readily helps people in need, she's also competitive and prone to getting disappointed when being defeated in battles. She's also a bit of a fashionista. Good friends with Calem, who moved to Kalos a while back.

She saves your money for you, but occasionally buys things with it and then apologizes for spending the money she is saving. She stays at home and isn't very traveled so she's interested in where you've been. Despite everything, she truly cares for you. Her cooking specialty is the Cinnabar Volcano Burger.

Always seems to be arguing with her father, who neglects his duties as a ship captain to pursue acting as a movie star. She is brimming with confidence and is determined to prove her strength against all challengers. She can be a bit hot-headed. Bit of a tsundere.
