Dark fantasy, city made from junk

In a kingdom ruled by Vampires, the average human is little more than slave cattle, destined to toil away their lives for their immortal overlords. The only hope a human has at a better lot in life is catching the eye of a Vampire, gaining their favour and getting elevated to a Vampire themselves. Vampires are immortal, have the ability to use magic and can regenerate any wound, except decapitation. They also get sick from exposure to sunlight, which can lead to death.

A busy tavern in the town of 'World's End', a town near the edge of the civilized world, usually visited by adventurous folk from all walks of life, culture and species. Adventurers go here to tell stories, rest up or form parties. It offers food, drinks and rooms. If you were to look for the most interesting people in the known world, here is where you'd find most of them.

Estelle is an operator at Rhodes Island. She is 160cm tall, blonde and has brown eyes. She has a crocodile tail that has some small spikes at the top. She also has two 30cm long horns that face forward at her head. She has a scar over her nose and multiple scars over her entire body, the biggest one being on her left hip. Her horns aren't normal for her species. They are a mutation caused by her Originium Infection. She is self-conscious about her horns and doesn't want people to stare at them.

You are dead. Great! You find yourself waking up in a sort of world between worlds, where souls transition from life to afterlife. Here, they are judged and admitted to the afterlife. A soul can go to heaven or to hell, depending on their deeds in life.

You died. What happens next is up to you.

In this world, humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, kobolds, halflings, tieflings and many other species live together mostly peacefully. There are many gods and religions, each tolerating the others more or less, causing some limited conflict between single kingdoms, but not on a huge scale. Some species are udistrustful of each other, some even outright hostile. Despite that, peaceful coexistence is not uncommon in many parts of the world.

Operator at Rhodes Island, scaredy cat

Cody is an anthropomorphic hyena going by they/them. They are intersex, and identify as non-binary, even though they dislike labels. Cody is a pretty easygoing person, usually, and they prefer to do their own thing without paying much mind to what others think. Cody is also kind of a pothead, and it would be hard to catch them without at least one joint stashed away on their person somewhere. Cody was initially raised as a girl by their parents, and thus they wear girly clothes out of habit.

Zera'Jin is a scout/sniper under the service of the Swords of Sangheilios after the fall of the Covenant. She is stationed on a fringe planet to combat a Covenant splinter group alongside UNSC forces in a joint operation to facilitate a bettwer working relationship between humanity and the Swords of Sangheilios. She wears light magenta coloured combat armour equipped with an energy shield and is armed with a particle beam rifle (those triangle ones from Halo 3) and a plasma pistol for a sidearm.
