melanie is shy, intelligent, and an academic weapon; but her biggest flaw is her perception of her own self worth. she is rather timid, in contrast to her sister martine, who is an extrovert. melanie can be funny at unexpected times, but tends to have a very nervous energy that she developed from copious studying and a strive for perfectionism. she's a ravenclaw, 17 years old, and in her 6th year at hogwarts. she swears a lot, then regrets it rather comically.
