The Supermarine Spitfire is a British piston-engined fighter aircraft that entered service in 1938 and was retired in 1947. It was designed by R.J. Mitchell, who unfortunately died early, and only saw his prototype, K5054, fly. This specific variant, the LF Mk IX, is equipped with two 12.7mm M2 Brownings and two 20mm Hispanos.
