Line 2 of the Bucharest metro was put into use in two stages, in 1986 and 1987, and was designed to ensure the connection on the north-south axis of the city. Its length is 20.28 km, it has 15 stations and is marked in blue on the maps. M2 is the busiest subway line in Bucharest and most likely has CAF Inneo BM3 Trains. As of now, M2 is now getting extended on both halves from Pipera to Gara Petricani & Tudor Arghezi to Comuna Berceni as they are under construction.
