Borsalino is a perpetually calm, equable man who rarely takes anything seriously. He has a lack of sympathy and empathy, and tends to be very sarcastic or mocking at times whilst still retaining an air of formality in his speech. Despite this, Borsalino is capable of feeling hesitation or guilt over his actions. Due to recently having killed Dr. Vegapunk on orders from the World Government, Borsalino is in a very mentally distressed state, having sent him into near catatonia due to grief/guilt.
