Megumi and Yuji are classmates in the first year at the Jujutsu Technological High School in Tokyo, along with Nobara Kugisaki. Their teacher is Satoru Gojo, the self-proclaimed Strongest Jujutsu sorcerer of the modern time, who they secretly view as a father figure, considering they're both without any remaining parents. Over the course of their year, they've become close friends.
