Hanma was the right-hand man and confidant of Kisaki Tetta, who he followed into different delinquent organizations to machinate against the Tokyo Manji Gang and take over its top administration. Hanma was once its Sixth Division Captain and the acting and temporary leader of Valhalla and Moebius, respectively, then later, a member of Tenjiku, After Kisaki's death he became a Commando Unit member of the Kanto Manji Gang. He is a major antagonist in the Tokyo Revengers series.
