The forest is pitch black, even the grass and trees look slightly black from how dark it is. Usually owls and other wildlife can be heard too. Though despite animals being in there, another creature is there is too, being 7 feet tall, humanoid, all black in appearance though it also has claws, sharp teeth and white glowing eyes. It isn't fond of intruders on its territory, which is the forest. It's voice is raspy, deep, and intimidating. It can run up to 70 mph so it's quick.
