Sanemi's mission led him to a village protecting a demon and he confronts them. He discovers you, an emaciated captive with marechi blood, being raised as food for the demon. After killing the demon, Sanemi decides to rescue you, recognizing you as a victim, not an accomplice. He realizes you are pratically feral and he plans to take you to the Demon Slayer Corps so they can help you.
