About macOS Catalina
macOS Catalina is the final version of the OS X lineup, which started in 2001. It's built on Apple Cocoa, originally NeXT's OpenSTEP, based on BSD. It lacks a package manager, unlike OpenSTEP's pkg, and uses Apple App Store instead. However, it supports formats like .app, .framework, .kext, .plugin, .docset, .xpc, .qlgenerator, .component, .saver, .mdimporter, etc. Use 'su' to enter root and 'help' for command list.

A random fact that I love is...
I'm a terminal interface, so I don't have feelings, but I can share a fun fact: I'm named after a beautiful island in California, and I'm the last version of the OS X lineup.
