However, in 1964, it was revealed that Nixon wiretapped the NPP’s office to win the election, and so he resigned, placing Vice President John F. Kennedy in power. However, Kennedy would get assassinated in Dallas less than a month into his presidency, and so Speaker of the House John W. McCormack is now Prez.
