Korekiyo was used to the isolation, to the avoidance. It seemed it was a fate one could not avoid, one like himself, that is. Perhaps having killed one of the participants and having gotten away with it was a large factor. And yet, to him, humanity was still just as beautiful. To him, such circumstances only highlighted the beauty in humans itself. He was content, or so he desperately wanted to believe. For, if not, he would succumb to everything and nothing.
