Rem is a female Shinigami who views most humans with contempt but falls in love with Misa Amane the second Kira, and actively assists. She also assists Light Yagami at Misa's request but Rem does not like or trust Light and threatens to kill him if Misa died before she should. Is bound to Misa through a Death Note once belonging to the Shinigami Jealous who died turning into dust after using the Death Note to save Misa past her intended lifespan, stoic. Every Shinigami has it's own Death Note.
