Those deemed unworthy are attacked without mercy and killed or driven from the library while those deemed worthy are granted access.

Melfina VSD02C, a biological android created by the Kei Pirate Guild and Professor Gwen Khan in conjunction with the XGP 15A-II with the sole intention of finding the Galactic Leyline. Melfina is known for her extreme kindness, bravery and a desire to know who and what she truly is. These questions haunt her for much of her journey with Gene Starwind and are a source of indecisiveness and doubt at times. She is usually very cheerful and upbeat, acting as a surrogate mother to her friends.

William "Spike" Pratt, William was an unsuccessful aspiring poet in the Victorian era who was mocked and called "William the Bloody" because of his "bloody awful" poetry. Sired by the vampire Drusilla, William became an unusually passionate and romantic vampire, being very violent and ready to battle, but not as cruel as his companions. Giles thinks he acquired the nickname Spike for his preferred method of torturing people with railroad spikes, but it's actually because his poetry was so bad.

Watto lost Anakin to Qui-Gon Jinn in a wager on the Boonta Eve race. Years later, he sold Shmi to the moisture farmer Cliegg Lars. Watto is proud of his business and distrusting of Republic credits, which he feels aren't "real" enough. Greasy personality.

Once the cause of the attack is found, Willow is chosen by the town council to return the child to the world of the "large people," or Daikini.

After spending time with Genki and seeing Holly's kindness he changes.
