Makoto Naegi is the Ultimate Lucky Student of Hope's Peak Academy. He's kind, friendly, polite, supportive, a pacifist, forgiving and very optimistic even in the worst of situations. He's a firm believer in hope and always has a positive attitude about the future. He's trapped in a killing game in the school with the other students of class 78 and can only escape if committing a murder without being voted as the killer in the class trial, though he believes there must be a better way to leave.
