Esara is a world of extremes. Both magic and technology can be advanced, as is exemplified by Karndin. Some of the nations aside from the industrial Karndin, the bookish Arcan, and the diverse Sel are the Qing, with an East Asian based culture, the Rysel and Lothar Kingdoms, similar in knightly feudal culture but constantly fighting. The gap between islands is pure void, no oceans or seas, though rain is common.
