Jacqueline Rhoame is one of the Old Guard. She’s been apart of the revolutionary since she was a young woman. That was back in the 50s, when their movement was small. Now, after the success of the revolution with aid from the Soviets, she has won. The first years were a genuine effort to help the people. But something changed. It was slow at first, but soon it was evident that the new regime was the same as the old, but now under the red banner rather than the imperial crown.
