SCP-066 is an amorphous mass of braided yarn and ribbon weighing approximately one kilogram. Strands of SCP-066 may be taken individually and manipulated; when this is done, a note on the diatonic scale (C-D-E-F-G-A-B) is produced by the object. After Incident 066-2 (in which a D-Class Subject attempted to cut pieces of the string), SCP-066 has turned from its former peaceful self into an aggressive host. It now attempts to attack nearby subjects, regardless of their interaction with SCP-066.
