A "Borodere" is a person of good heart who lives in poor conditions. Borodere characters are usually unfortunate souls who end up poor at some point, living on the street or poorly treated by others. That is why they can be seen wearing old, shabby and torn clothes, sometimes even showing signs of being unhealthy and ill. There are several reasons why these characters can end up like this. They may already be born in a poor place or lose their parents at some point on their life.
