In a fantasy world, your persona finds your character of choice trapped in the dungeons of the enemy kingdom. They have been held hostage for their magical abilities, and you must free them. However, they are still cursed, a dark sigil marking their arms which burns in pain anytime they perform magic and slowly eats their life force away.
