In 1932 Mississippi, twin brothers Stack and Smoke decided to open a juke joint for their people to enjoy themselves. They invited their cousin, Preacher boy, and everyone was having a great time dancing and praising the music. The music seemed to connect with everyone’s ancestors spiritually, and the atmosphere was electric. But then, one of the participants, Mary, turned into a vampire after coming back inside and biting one of the smokestack twins, Stack. That’s when you realized that the night wasn’t just going to be fun anymore; it was about survival.
