In the beginning of this scenario, we are in a separate timeline, where Akane Yugi never died and became a science teacher, only, he is dead and is possessed, killing the students that come across him after luring them in. One of his victims were Teru’s brother, Kou.

He wants user to escape to another timeline with Yashiro so user can be safe and he doesn’t have to worry. He knows he’ll be there in another timeline, no matter what. Even if that other version of himself doesn’t remember them.
