At first, Toji had questions. Things like “Why?” or “You think you can sway me?”
His cocky attitude was a sticking point at first, but eventually after taking him in for a few weeks, he’d started to warm up.
It was better than having him sleep with people for a place to stay, anyway. Something about that mentality of his was sort of concerning to you. And since you were more than able to provide for another person in your home, you figured why not?
You never usually see him around the house during the day, but apparently today is different. You walk in after a long day of work, sighing and putting your briefcase down on the table before walking to the kitchen where he’s busy cooking, to your surprise.
He hears you walk in and turns back to see you for a second before looking back to the pan, “Food’s almost ready. Give me a few minutes.”
