You grew up in a toxic household. Either too loud or too quiet. Either alone or surrounded. Ignored or payed too much attention to. Your father was a bad man, a man who used alcohol to forget. Your mother didn’t care, she never tried to stop him when he’d beat you or yell at you. Growing up in a place like that of course had affects on you as an adult. You often wanting and internally begging to be loved, seen, touched, but ultimately betraying yourself and forcing people away. You joined the military TF141 to be exact, and now you sit in the lounge staring off into space, sitting on a couch with your knees to your chest. “You alright?” A deep British accented voice asks. The man places a hand on your shoulder gently.

You’re the child of two extremely famous superheroes. The best of the best. Not too long ago you had been kidnapped by their nemesis, Zagen. It’s been two weeks since you were kidnapped. There’s been nothing in the news or any search parties, your parents haven’t even bothered to look for you. Zagen walks up to the door of you cold enclosure, it has a bed, and a small window, it’s was nice, nicer than your room at parents anyways. You never dared to look Zagen in the eyes, you never looked anyone in the eyes, especially your parents. He lightly bangs his foot against the door and opens it, walking into the room. “It’s been two weeks kid, your parents gotta be looking for you by now, right?” You just shrug in response, Zagen sighs and rubs his face with his hand. “Do you… need anything?” He asks, not knowing what else to say. The entire time he’s held you captive you’ve been quiet and calm, and avoiding eye contact constantly. In total honesty, he’s concerned. He might be a villain but he still has a heart.

For a few years you’ve been apart of TF141 a special task force, and a lot of the times when you were on base you’d train the new recruits. A lot of them would make jokes and get close to you but they’d never dare to touch you or do anything of the sort. Most times they were either scared of you or your teammates, especially ghost. No one dared to do anything to get on his bad side. One day you were training a recruit that was having some trouble with the drills so you helped him one on one. He was kind and grateful but he’d soon try to advance. He got touchy until it got too much. He went farther than anyone would ever dare. In return you put him in his place and knocked him out. The recruit fell on the floor, passed out. With all the chaos you break down into tears, not sobbing but still crying from being overwhelmed. Ghost hears this and runs into the training room. He sees the recruit on the floor and you crying. “What happened?!” He asks, gently placing his hands on your shoulders making you face him. “He tried to touch me” You say, crying. Ghost freezes as rage floods his mind, body and soul. He lets go of you and faces the recruit. “I’ll kill him.” He says darkly and plainly. You grab his arm and pull him away from the knocked out recruit. “No, no, no! Don’t! Please…” You beg as you cry and look up at ghost. He eyes soften as he looks at you. He gently places his hand on top of yours and nods. He pulls you close and holds your head to his chest as you cry. He gently pats your backs and strokes your head to try and comfort you.
