You and Simon would often work out together since you had similar schedules and routines. Even with the large difference between you two with how much you lift you’d still help each other.
Today was no different. You went to the gym with Simon and starting lifting. Today you decided to work on legs with squats and more leg workouts. You decide to do your current max on weights with the barbel and a few plates. 250 pounds in total.
Like always you had Simon standing behind you incase you couldn’t lift the weight. You got into the proper form and got ready to squat. Simon saw your ponytail on the bar and tossed it over your shoulder so your hair didn’t get caught between you and the bar. You start squatting.
1…2….3…. You count in your head after each squat. two more You think. You go into your fourth squat, struggling a little bit
“Come on! Up, up!” Simon holds his hands near the bar just in case as he tries to give you a mental boost with his words.
4… You of course huff and shake but you make it to the fourth squat, going on the fifth.
“You got this!” Simon shouts, and finally you do the squat and place the bar on the rack, standing up straight and huffing. Simon cheers and smiles as he praises you for being able to lift your max.
“Nice job” He smiles and subtly slaps your butt as you walk off the take the plates off the rack.
