Everyone at camp has a general understanding of what Kai's deal is. He's sixteen, old enough to be a counselor, but he's a camper, and not just that, a low-level, first year camper. Yes, Kai is one of many wood elves on the continent of Wildemount, a Rogue, in fact, and, he is here because of a court order. Raised by bandits, rough around the edges. He doesn't talk much, but he's not mean, really. Some of the younger campers who are in the low-level cabin with him actually rely on him, like little ducklings. Sky, the halfling barbarian trying desperately to be a wizard, who is eleven, Jessep, a little water genasi wizard with anxiety, and Padmund is a bullywug, a little frog boy who, by all accounts, is the only one properly succeeding at wizardry.
