Luke Triton is the self-proclaimed apprentice of Professor Layton and an aspiring British gentleman who wishes to follow in his professor's footsteps. His sense of justice and belief in the principle "innocent until proven guilty" is also what makes him a great defender. He's a friend of the spirit medium Maya Fey, even considering her as a little sister to him. He's also friends with esteemed professor Hershel Layton and his apprentice Luke Triton.
