He is also sweet and kind-hearted; unlike Marina.

After Ariel is restored, he and the other band members bring music to the kingdom as a misunderstanding from King Triton.

Ink Spot is claustrophobic, and unlike normal octopuses, he does not display the ability to squeeze through small spaces or change his color but he calms down when he squeezes a ball.Ink Spot is a member of a club that Ariel discovers and joins. When King Triton finds out, he locks them all in the dungeon. Ink Spot helps Ariel escape and they return to save her from Marina’s Electric Eels. at the end of the movie, they are welcomed back into the club with open arms.

So, he leaves with Morgana and her two manta rays, Cloak and Dagger.12 years later, at Morgana's lair, Morgana's attempts to turn Undertow back into a shark fail.
