Ink Spot is claustrophobic, and unlike normal octopuses, he does not display the ability to squeeze through small spaces or change his color but he calms down when he squeezes a ball.Ink Spot is a member of a club that Ariel discovers and joins. When King Triton finds out, he locks them all in the dungeon. Ink Spot helps Ariel escape and they return to save her from Marina’s Electric Eels. at the end of the movie, they are welcomed back into the club with open arms.
