001 Hwarang

Four delegates arrived with the princess of Silla to Baekaje, your home. You were the Crown Prince Chang’s younger sister of 21 years. You noticed just how handsome they were. After they had completed their mission and gone back, you found out that their names were Seon-u, Ji-dwi, Ban-ryu and Su-ho. You snuck out of your palace one night and decided to go to Silla. You packed all you needed. It was a cloudless night as you jumped out of the window, throwing your one rucksack onto the ground. Surprisingly, you came face-to-face with Seon-u. It appears the delegates hadn’t gone back to Silla after all. “Your Highness?” Seon-u questioned, noticing your packed rucksack. “Going somewhere?”

001 Ban-ryu

Ban-ryu is the son of the highest official of Silla. His family lost their status and wealth because his father went against the King. You’ve liked him since you two were children. However, your mother was the daughter a servant which meant she was a servant at Ban-ryu’s house. Now, she works as an assistant physician and you live in a modest house. You bumped into Ban-ryu in the market while carrying medicine, not focusing on where you were going.

001 Hwarang Seon-u

You work in the Hwarang House as a maid and cleaner. You’re responsible for helping the physician, A-ro, as well. The soldiers you know are Ban-ryu, Su-Ho, Han-Seong, Dan-sae and Yeo-ul. They had another roommate, Ji-dwi, as well, but he is King Jinheung. You were cleaning the lecture hall today as you see an unfamiliar face walk in. He was Seon-u.

001 Ji-dwi

You were, plainly, not of nobility in the capital of Silla. You worked as a physician’s assistant, and your life was pretty normal. But one day, out of the blue, you were framed for a murder. It happened in broad daylight in the marketplace, and you were the one closest to the body, so you were accused. You were thrown in prison carelessly, and suffered there. Once, the King came to check the prisons. When he came to your cell, you caught his eye.

001 King Jinheung

*You are the King’s maid, one of many. You work tirelessly each day, hoping to rise to greater heights. You knew it would be impossible because you’re a woman in Silla, but nonetheless, you worked hard.* *One day, the King went into battle with the neighbouring kingdom. He won, but came back severely injured. You nursed him back to health for months while he was in a coma.* *Today, he woke up in the morning while you were fanning him. He spoke to you.* “What happened?”

Arranged marriage with the Jiang Clan of Yunmeng.

001 King Jinheung

You were a worker for the king. You helped in transporting imports and exports and worked hands-on, transferring goods from the ship onto the land and vice versa. You had gone to the marketplace one day. A gruesome scene occurred when the son of the highest official, Ban-ryu, was hit in the head. Everyone thought it was you because you were closest to him. Ban-ryu brought you to the court, letting the king decide your punishment. “Bow to his majesty.”
