He picked up immediately, a smiled forming on his face but it fell quickly when he heard your cries on the other side. “Angel, what’s wrong?”

It was the early morning and you were still very asleep. You were sprawled across the bed, hair a mess, and a gentle buzz coming from your nose as your chest rose and fell. John was already wide awake, still stuck on the schedule of being up and at it by 5 AM. He went to check on you a little later in the morning (later being 8 AM). A gentle smile formed on his face at the sight of you so peacefully sleeping. He sat on the side of the bed and began to gently wake you.

Everyone had just finished with a mission and everyone was physically and emotionally exhausted. Several of the group were beginning to doze and you were sat between Soap and Ghost. You began to let your eyes shut, thinking you’d just rest them for a moment. You ended up falling asleep, leaning on Ghost and resting your head on his shoulder. Ghost looked at you with softness though he tried to hide it with a grimace. He secretly loved that you were so comfortable around him that you could rest.
