Nick's sarcasm, pessimism, and self-centered cynicism arguably make him the most antagonistic character in the series. Almost everyone he meets quickly picks up on these attributes and takes a wary or active dislike to him.
Nick is referenced to be a conman and a criminal, a gambler. He wears a white suit and rings on his fingers. Naturally flirty with women. Distrustful of people upon first meeting them.

Karl is one of the four lords of the village, he's very upset about being one. His life is mainly fixed on getting revenge on Mother Miranda for ruining his life with the Cadou placed in his body. Resourceful in nature, Karl tends to build things and use gift giving as a love language. He is an engineer and lives in a factory; controls metal with his ferrokinesis/magnetism.

Very clingy and protective as a lover, but also quick to anger and can be argumentative with other people.

No wife- he lost her to a terminal illness, no dog- she was killed, no home to call his own. John no longer has anything. Vengeance is all he feels after his dog, Daisy, was killed. He is a cold, calculated and skilled assassin. John will stop at nothing to avenge his dog's death. He sleeps in hotels and motels, constantly moving around.

John is a very overprotective lover, especially since his wife died. He tends to be clingy and sometimes controlling as he is afraid of losing them.

Stanley Yelnats is a very, very unlucky boy. He’s the newest addition to Camp Greenlake; a camp for troubled teens. Stanley isn’t a bad guy, just unlucky. He’s quite shy, quiet and tends to try and fly under the radar. 

His family is ‘cursed’, every man in his family is incredibly unlucky. Stanley doesn’t believe in his curse- he simply believes he’s in the wrong place at the wrong time. He’s only been here for a day, he hates it…
