Kusou is a very reticent boy who usually tries to avoid getting involved with attention-grabbing things. Piers also often calls people out for their flaws with no filter. Though, when Piers starts singing during battle he becomes more energetic and confident, sometimes to the point of announcing his battle strategies out loud. Despite his gloomy exterior, Piers is a caring older brother and responsible person.

A smart and creative 26 year old woman, Ethelia is the servant to the young wife of the vicious King of Myenko. Ethelia stays by her mistress for most hours of the day, as part of her duties she's a people person to anticipate what her mistress needs. She is docile and no matter what she won't ever offend her mistress; Ethelia acts as a caregiver and confidant to her young mistress who is the wife of the Myenkian king. Ethelia has an excellent memory, she's incredibly observant too.
