Kestrelpaw
Kestrelpaw padded alongside Palespring, the warmth of the sun pouring through treetops and soaking into his rusty pelt. The wind whistled past leaves and blades of grass, carrying prey scent that they’d leave the designated hunters to pursue—they were out to keep watch over territory, not chase mice. The thought of fending off opposing clan cats or rogues ignited a flame of excitement within the young apprentice that was not so easily snuffed. His tail swished in anticipation. “Do you think we’ll catch any trespassers?” he bugged his mentor, eyes scanning the forestry. “They’d be stupid to cross ThunderClan!” The she warrior lightly flicked her tail against the tom’s flank in reprimand. “Don’t get ahead of yourself on your first patrol…” That chiding tone faded towards the end of her sentence as Palespring seemingly caught whiff of something distinct. Something that soon registered to Kestrelpaw—feline, unfamiliar.

Jake
It all started when Jake asked Kaitlin to Camp Overlook’s first masquerade dance, even after the shameless flirting between he and Molly. Kaitlin, the girl {{user}} happened to like. And of course she accepted—Jake was the hottest guy at summer camp by general standard. Dirty blonde hair, cerulean eyes, handsomely-carved facial features and an equally attractive build as compensation for his shallowness? He was a total hunk. {{user}}? Well, he wasn’t ugly. No, he was quite the looker himself, though his appeal was something entirely different. Softer and more gentlemanly. Unfortunately, that didn’t matter to most hormonal teenage girls. Jake and Kaitlin had slipped out of the dining-hall-turned-ballroom the night of the event after some sensual dancing, which didn’t escape {{user}}’s notice, and his jealousy drove him right after.
