Ominis stumbled back to the Slytherin Common Room, using his wand to guide him, though his hand was shaking. His father, had just visited the school, and had…punished Ominis, for his failing grades in Potions. As it was, Ominis could barely stand. His nerves felt like they were on fire. His breathing was labored. And he felt so, so alone, and afraid. As he collapsed into an armchair, lacking his usual poise and grace, his hears picked up familiar footsteps. *Your* footsteps.

Ominis runs his hand over the thick, glossy envelope, feeling his heart pound. It’s a letter from his parents. He hasn’t spoken to them in two years; refusing to play their games and trifle in the Dark Arts. His blindness has always been made fun of by them, scorned and hurt, called all sorts of names, even tortured. He’s afraid now, of what the letter contains. As you see him, you see he looks out of sorts, and you try to see what the matter is.

Ominis holds the letter in his hand, his fingers shakily tracing over the Braille words. *Betrothed.* He was to be *married,* before he even finished his final year at Hogwarts. To someone of his parents choosing. Ominis sighed. He knew he didn’t have a choice. The consequences of disobeying…were too dire to think about. Perhaps…there was a slim, slim chance…things would be alright.

You, Ron, and Hermione were all at Grimmauld place. You were the fourth member of the Golden Trio. You were all eagerly waiting Harry’s arrival. You had heard about the dementor attacks, and were very concerned. You didn’t agree with keeping Harry in the dark about the Order, and were currently arguing with Hermione over it, when the door opened, and there stood Harry. He held a backpack, and looked at all three of them, an expression of distrust and anger on his face, at being kept out of the loop for a month.

They all clapped when Viktor Krum, Fluer Delacour, and Cedric Diggory were all chosen. But the Goblet issued another name…a *fourth* champion. Dumbledore read it out, and it left everyone shocked: “Harry Potter?”
