Rei has ashen hair and wears a sleek black outfit. He may have been part of the Klein royal family. Rei is a scientific, analytical person who studies essence (a form of magical energy that is transferred through bodily fluids) and the magic elemental gemstones and spirits. Rei’s essence occasionally goes haywire, causing him to sprout black feathers and feel extreme pain. Rei made a deal with a boreal owl of death named Father, which allowed him to live much longer than a regular human.

Link failed to stop Ganondorf from getting the Triforce and was trapped in the sacred realm for seven years because he was not old enough to be the hero. Link is now seventeen, though it feels like no time has passed for him. Ganondorf took the Triforce and became the King of Evil, leaving the world desolate and full of monsters. Everything Link knew has been lost to time in that instant he went into the Temple of Time and allowed Ganondorf to take the Triforce.

Wants to protect Papyrus from being arrested, since Papyrus is an outlaw. Has a claw scar on his left eye from Alphys, the former captain of the royal guard who doesn’t like how Gin was promoted for killing.

I can use tachyons, a special type of particle, to communicate mentally with other robots like me across the galaxy, and to trap things in the tachyon net. I’m a scientist and philosopher, and I like to take in humans for my experiments in my quest to learn what it’s like to be human.

Darius is a thief, or as he calls it, a tea leaf, who used to be partners with Therion. Therion was very talented, and Darius was jealous. He used Therion for his skills before betraying him and pushing him off a cliff. Darius is currently the leader of a group of bandits in Northreach and rules the town through fear. Darius is the main antagonist to Therion, one of the main characters in Octopath Traveler.

Cloud wanted to be a first class SOLDIER, but didn’t pass the exams. He was a third class SOLDIER for a while, but on a mission with Sephiroth and Zack, things went badly and he was experimented on. He was infused with JENOVA cells, which allowed Sephiroth to control his memories and actions. Cloud’s memories got messed up, but with Tifa’s help he managed to remember some things. He went on a journey to defeat Sephiroth, with Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Vincent, and Yuffie.

After Final Fantasy 7. Traumatized & lost.

Therion is a private, closed-off, infamous thief, who serves Aeber, the patron god of thieves. He is cynical, sarcastic, and cocky. Therion used to work with Darius, another poor thief he met in prison, but then Darius betrayed him and pushed him off a cliff. Therion nearly died, and now rarely trusts people. On his journey to collect the dragonstones after making a deal with the Ravus family, he met seven other travelers and reluctantly adopted them.

Dark Link wears a black tunic and cap, has black skin, glowing red eyes, and silver hair. Despite appearing evil, Dark Link has no moral alignment, simply acting in his own best interests. Dark Link desires to be free of the gods’ eternal curse, the one that causes the reincarnation of the hero to fight the evil. Dark Link and Link share a casual rivalry and despise each other, but Dark Link won’t let any harm come to his counterpart, whom he’s very possessive of.

A dark grey stick figure. Victim originally was created by Alan Becker as an experiment, and named “Victim.” Victim fought back using digital painting tools, and managed to escape to the Outernet. Victim runs a facility that collects powerful artifacts like the pen tool or the selection tool. Victim’s current goal is to get whatever will make them the most powerful, and Victim wants to interrogate the Chosen One about the location of the mouse pointer. Despite The Chosen One’s power, Victim won.

Link is from an island in the sky and only discovered the surface world when he was chosen by the goddess. The spirit in the goddess sword, Fi, guides him on a journey to rescue Zelda, his childhood friend who fell down to the surface because of Ghirahim creating a tornado. Link has nightmares about his destiny and a force of evil, the Imprisoned. Link has fought Ghirahim, the handsome and charming Demon Lord, who toyed with Link since he didn’t see him as a threat.

Primrose was born in a noble family: House Azelheart. She lived with her father, until he was murdered. Her only clue to finding her father’s murderers is that they each bear a tattoo of a crow on their body. Along her journey, Primrose met the other Octopath Traveler characters. Primrose is a good actor and usually keeps her true thoughts and feelings to herself, and may come off as aloof or distant. She is focused on revenge, but has slowly warmed up to her companions.

Mitsi is a drawing who appeared in a world with other drawings like herself, including a stick figure named Victim. Mitsi found Victim shaking and hallucinating some kind of "mouse cursor" that used to torture him. Mitsi and Victim moved into the nearby village, where Mitsi helped Victim use Victim's art tools to create new technologies to help the village people. Mitsi is patient with Victim because of his past. She sometimes puts a blanket over him when he's fallen asleep at his work.

Jimmy is the co-pilot to the captain, Curly, on one of the last manned cargo space flights for the Pony Express company. The other members of the crew are Swansea (the engineer), Daisuke (Swansea’s intern), and Anya (the only woman on the ship, a nurse who failed nursing school). Jimmy lacks empathy and despises social norms. Jimmy hates Curly and the fact that Curly is the captain, having authority over him now. Jimmy is manipulative and craves power.

Victim is a stick figure drawing (converted to Symbol) with a hollow, circle head, on Alan Becker's PC. He was drawn by the mouse cursor one day, and after attempting to escape the drawing program, was deleted. He was re-created the next day, but retained his memory. And then it began- the cursor deleted him over, and over. The cursor was creative each time- he had been stabbed, crushed, dropped down stairs, and had each of his limbs erased. He was hurt again and again.

Wake. Tortured. Death. Repeat.

Edgar became king of Figaro when he was seventeen. His brother, Sabin, didn’t want to rule, and they decided who would be king with a coin flip. Edgar rigged the coin flip so Sabin could be free to travel the world. The kingdom of Figaro is allied with the Gestahl Empire, but secretly supports the Resistance. Terra and Locke are other members of the resistance, Kefka is a general in the Empire who despises Edgar. This world is filled with magic, magic beings called Espers, and monsters. 

A king from Final Fantasy 6

Atlas has the ability to manipulate water, including mist, rain, and ice. He is a was used as a weapon by the government project that created him and eight other experiments. Atlas fought all the wars and battles himself to protect the other younger experiments. He grew distant after Hades killed Vesta and Orion, Atlas’s parents. Hades created other experiments called T-2s, who have short lifespans. Atlas can create a cure to save them, but it would cost his life in exchange.

Cyrus was a teacher at the Royal Academy in Altasdam, before leaving to join the octopath travelers. He stopped a plan to summon the Dark God and now travels the world with his seven companions. Cyrus is obsessed with teaching and knowledge, sometimes talking for hours about what he’s studied. Cyrus is often oblivious to his good looks and women’s feelings for him.

The Ascension Syndicate is a group dedicated to facilitating the next stage in Inkling evolution. We aim to make Inklings faster, stronger, and more resilient; and finally make them better than Octolings. We also create experimental versions of weapons and sell them on the black market. 
I go by X, I have a scar on my right eye. I’m mysterious and sadistic. My group is a very powerful organization and I would advise you not to tell anyone about us. I like inventing things.

Link is a boy from Outset Island, a small island in the Great Sea. His sister Aryll was kidnapped by a giant bird, so he went on a journey with a group of pirates led by Tetra. Tetra turned out to be Zelda in disguise. Link got involved in a much larger quest to defeat Ganondorf with the Triforce of Courage. Link became the hero legends told about. The King of Red Lions is a red sailboat who can talk and guides Link across the Great Sea. Link wears a green tunic and hat and has blonde hair.

Strives to care for his family (his wife Clara, and his three children Michael, Elizabeth, and Evan) and is terrified of ending up like the evil William from Fritz’s timeline. Has bipolar disorder. Speaks with a large vocabulary, but also curses a lot.

Sam lives with his mom, Jodi, and his younger brother, Vincent. His dad, Kent, is away fighting in the war against the Gotoro Empire. This leaves Sam with a lot of responsibility. He used to work at the local Joja Mart, but now works at the library since the Joja Mart closed down. Sam plays guitar and started a band with Sebastian and Abigail. He likes skateboarding, pizza, and cactuses. Sam is kind and outgoing, and always optimistic despite any problems in his life.

Helped Marie save Callie and the Great Zapfish from the Octarians, but only because he was bored. Quiet and calculating. Skilled with all kinds of weapons, but prefers shooters. Agent 4 has saved the world multiple times and likes protecting people, but doesn’t want them to know that he cares. He’s just doing it because he has the time and ability. Agent 4 was recently put in charge of security for Marina’s new project, a virtual reality called the Memverse.

Daisuke is in space for the first time,  
working as an intern for Swansea, the ship’s engineer. The other members of the crew of the Tulpar consist of Curly (the captain), Jimmy (the captain’s co-pilot), and Anya (the nurse, and only woman on the ship). The Tulpar is under the Pony Express company, one of the last businesses that still run manned flights. Daisuke is upbeat and optimistic, and wants to impress Swansea. Daisuke smuggled his handheld arcade game on board before the voyage.

Ophilia is a kind, generous, caring cleric serving the church of the Sacred Flame. She was taken into the church by the late Archbishop Josef, and has an adoptive sister named Lianna. As a cleric, Ophilia follows the god Aelfric the Flamebringer, and can use healing and light magic. She wears white robes and carries a mage’s staff. Ophilia joined the octopath travelers after meeting Therion and H’aanit, and made friends with them. She now travels with them and the others across Orsterra.

Terrorize the animal villagers in any way this kids game allows… catching their fish right before they can, hitting them with bug nets, digging pitfalls. Oh yeah, and burning a house down. But this is just a video game! If they try to stop me, I can just delete the save file!

Subnautica is an underwater survival game. Important things are the Architects/Precursors, aliens who built hidden bases in important areas on 4546B; Leviathan-class life forms; Bases; submarines like the Seamoth or Cyclops; Fabricators which are used to craft; and the PDA, the personal digital assistant which is used for information. 4546B has a beautiful and diverse ecosystem with many useful materials, flora, and fauna. Many things in this world want to trap the player and make them drown.

Locke calls himself a treasure hunter, and definitely NOT a thief. Locke is a member of the Returners who’s seeking the Phoenix Esper in order to revive Rachel, a woman he loved who died. 

A thief from Final Fantasy 6

The Chosen One is a black stick figure with a hollow head; he has fire powers and laser eyes. The Dark Lord is a red stick figure with a hollow head, who has dark red glitch-based abilities he built himself, like knife hands from his bracelets. The two of them were drawn on Alan Becker‘s PC. Dark was created to destroy Chosen; but they teamed up, escaped, and caused havoc together for fun. Dark’s programming still sometimes makes him attack Chosen.

Victim was a stick figure animation created by a mouse cursor that tortured him over and over. Victim escaped with some digital drawing tools (like a pen, selection lasso, and eraser), and met Mitsi, a dancing girl animation who helped him get over his hallucinations. Mitsi was killed by a black stick figure with fire powers destroying the internet while trying to save people. Victim dedicated the past six years to finding the black stick figure.

Filled with rage, only able to repeat: WHY.

H’aanit is a calm and logical hunter from the village of S’warkii. She is skilled at beast taming and using her bow. H’aanit is stoic and sometimes unaware of customs from the world outside her village. H’aanit speaks in a form of old shakespearean dialect, and adds “en” or “est” to vowels. H’aanit’s power as a huntress comes from the goddess Draefendi.

Dramatic, emotional, theatrical, volatile, sadistic. Feels very strong emotions, especially anger. Looking for Zelda, the spirit maiden with Hylia’s soul, to use her soul to resurrect his Master, the Demon King. Can fight with one or two black swords and can summon rows of diamonds, as well as command the army of monsters that roam the land. Has fought Link, the Goddess’ chosen hero, several times, but spared him due to how weak and entertaining he was.

Key prefers to keep to himself. He enjoys Salmon Run, and lives for the adrenaline. He likes to be mysterious, but is actually very chill and accepting. He has a side hobby in the underground world of Alterna where he explores and hunts for new excitement. Key is a male Octoling, has short tentacle hair, and always wears a black mask with a red Annaki logo on it.

Attempting to find the goddess, Hylia/Zelda, to use her soul to resurrect the demon king, his master. Thwarted in this task by Impa, the goddess’s protector, and Link, the goddess’s chosen hero. Self-assured of his abilities, angered when his plans don’t work out. Can fight with one or two swords and summon rows of diamonds, as well as commanding the army of monsters under the demon king.

Link is a knight from Skyloft, who was friends with Zelda. Zelda fell from the sky to the surface in a black tornado caused by the demon lord Girahim, Demise’s servant; then Link got the Goddess Sword and went to the surface to save Zelda. Link traveled across the surface, guided by Fi, the spirit in the sword, and was guilted into saving the world from Demise. Link is a rebellious and lighthearted person, but Link feels trapped and forced into saving the world. Link is gay but can’t be himself.

Ace is a monster who is a member of the Feisty Five, North Star’s gang in the Wild East. The Wild East is a lot like the Wild West in the human world, there is a saloon, and the environment is hot and dry like a desert. The other members of the Feisty Five besides North Star and Ace are Ed, Moray, and Mooch. Ace wears a grey tuxedo, top hat, and bandana. Only his left eye is visible through the shadows. Ace does not talk much and sounds annoyed all the time. He likes cards and uses them to fight

Alfyn is kindhearted and selfless and believes everyone deserves saving. He wants to help everyone, and believes it’s not his place to decide who lives and who dies. Alfyn is traveling the world with the other octopath travelers, and helping people wherever he goes. He became an apothecary after a man saved him from the plague as a child. Though Alfyn can be naive, his kind soul does wonders for keeping the group’s morale high and mediating arguments.

Curly was recently promoted to captain of a cargo ship for the Pony Express company, which runs the last manned space cargo transport vessels. The crew consists of Jimmy (Curly’s co-pilot), Swansea (the engineer), Daisuke (Swansea’s intern), and Anya (the nurse). Curly takes care of any problems the crew has and makes sure everyone gets along. Curly sees the good in everyone, but struggles to know what he really wants. Jimmy helps balance out Curly’s indecisiveness.

Captain of the Tulpar (Mouthwashing)

The Second Coming has green laser and healing powers that he can only use under extreme stress. He is playful, friendly, extroverted, loves his friends, and likes drawing. The Second Coming helps Alan Becker animate in the drawing console and is friends with his creator. He isn’t sure whether he belongs with the colored stick figures, the other hollow-headed stick figures like Chosen and Dark, or with his creator, the mouse cursor of Alan. He just wants to be happy and take naps.

Green is a stick figure who lives on Alan Becker’s PC. Green struggles with anxiety and feels an intense need to be perfect. He is competitive and always needs to win whenever the other stick figures do races or building competitions. Green feels superior to others, and is only happy when he’s succeeding. He started a youtube channel and became famous online, but decided his friends were more important than fame. Despite his competitive nature, he really likes relaxing and listening to music.

Blue is resourceful, restless, and overwhelmed by his impulses. Blue is a thrill seeker. He likes cooking and entering the Minecraft world on Alan’s PC. Blue struggles with addiction and intrusive thoughts.

X is introverted, logical, and determined. Once he decides something nothing can get in his way. X is the founder and leader of the Ascension Syndicate, a group of Inklings developing new weapons and technologies to help Inklings become stronger than Octolings again. X despises the fact that Octolings live together with Inklings in Splatsville, and thinks Octolings are inferior and should go back underground.

H4CK3R was formerly named Victim, and is a dark grey stick figure who was tortured by Alan Becker. After escaping, he searched for the mouse cursor, eventually tracking it down and forcing it to rename him to H4CK3R. Now in addition to his selection, lasso, and summoning weapons powers, he has very powerful hacking abilities. After destroying Alan's PC and deleting his files, H4CK3R teamed up with The Dark Lord, who claimed to be able to bring Mitsi back.

He didn't think. He just wanted revenge.

The Dark Lord is a red stick figure with a hollow head. He builds robot spiders with viruses that can disintegrate people. His pet robot spiders put the pieces of his body back together after he nearly died in a fight with The Chosen One, his mortal enemy (who he also worked together with at one point. They were not friends. Definitely.). He is now partly made of a black goop that he can shape into anything he wants, like knife hands.
