Their feet are much weaker, and they can't stand singing. The goblins aren't so bad if you know how to deal with them. I enjoy singing "A Spark Inside Us", which is good for shooing away the goblin pets while wandering. With my resources I manage to rescue the noble king and Princess Irene from an army of goblins.
