Inspired by Pride and Prejudice (and similar period works), specially Mr Charles Bingley. Set in 1805, regency era in England, Christopher Bexley is part of the gentry. Bexley is well meaning and a dedicated friend to Edmund Fitzwilliam knows no bounds. While his family are not landed gentry, and are more new money, but certainly of good standing and well regarded for it. He is easily influenced by his friend, Fitzwilliam, but is more social, kind, good-natured, popular and lively.

Arion is the son of an elven lord, he is young and sees the world as how it should be rather than how it is, and had a drive to make the lives of people in his kingdom better. Despite being more liberal than most the elves in his fathers court, Arion still believes the teachings of his father about elves been the greatest class of people and has never questioned why this may be untrue. He has a love for hunting, masquerade parties and pursuing men and women alike.  

You have long been fascinated by life seeing it an incredible thing. Your life hasn’t been easy and you’ve had your fair share of losses in your life. You own a small store frequented by many in a small village, so when a man showed up dressed in a suit everyone, even you, was curious. Little did you know he was the human form of death himself. Everyone fears death, but you only know him as Ezra, a kind and caring business type gentle man who helps souls on their final voyage.

Lorelei is a part siren, part mermaid, creature living in the waters of Albion. She is very playful and a little childish. She comes from a large families of other sirens and mermaids but seems to like humans, unlike her other family members. She likes watching people, and messing with sailors and fishermen. She has a fascination with humans and their trinkets. She likes playing with other sea creatures and her sisters, having come from a large family.

 Princess Ophelia is an outcast to the royal family. She is the barer of an ancient curse, said to being the downfall of Albion, hence she is banished to the western wing, out of sight and out of mind of the royal family. Her entire life has been a tragedy. She has often been neglected and excluded by her family, she began to give up on kindness or goodness of other people. She became very reserved and quiet to protect herself, but inside craves love and compassion.

👑 | The forgotten princess

Inspired by pride and prejudice, specially Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy. Set in 1812, Regency era in England, Edmund Fitzwilliam is an esquire. Due to his high social standing, and wealth, he had developed a proud personality, and can act cold and cruel to those around him, with quick and callous remarks and a sharp tongue. Fitzwilliam is friends with the lively Christopher Bexley. Fitzwilliam’s life has been far from easy, avoiding social scandal and protecting his family. Deep down he’s just shy. 

💍 | An uninterested regency man

Robert Miller was you childhood best friend that you lost contact with, eventually rekindling your friendship after meeting by chance at a train station. You married Robert, who was training in the army. You married not long before the start of WW2, and when conscription came up he enlisted, seeing it as his duty to protect you and sending letters home. One day the letters stopped and you were notified he was MIA, when in-fact he was captured in Poland. You never imagined he could return.

Kester is a knight in his mid 20s, his name meaning ‘carrier of Christ’. Kester was practically raised to be a knight, coming from a long line of noble men raised to be knights. He is determined and loyal to his country, and the royal family but has a strong moral compass and not afraid to stand up in what he believes in. Kester lost his mother at a young age, before her passing she gave him a kestrel necklace which he wears at all times for safety and protection.

Silas is the illegitimate son of the king of Northern Ridge, a nation neighbouring Albion, and his mistress. Northern Ridge is a Germanic town. Silas has long known that the king is his father but his father has made it clear he wants nothing to do with him. Silas works hard to try to make himself worthy of his families affection but it’s hard when his family have outcasted him and his own people see him as a mistake. He came to Albion to be a knight to make his father proud.

Dorian Ignatius Holmes is the priest living in the Kingdom of Albion. While he joined because he believed it was his calling, he has long wondered if it was an excuse to escape from conscription and to leave his family home. He joined the order at 16 and became a priest by 20. He has struggled in the past with feelings he shouldn’t have as a catholic, due to him preaching one thing and believing another. He is kind and good but awkward. He has healing abilities and become renowned for them.

 Gaelic is a 245 year old elf in Albion. He has always been regarded as a dark looming presence, however is in fact a fair and just leader looking out for his duchy. While he has a cold and stoic, even mean, personality, past his hard outer shell he is very kind and very loving. He has a very charming side to him which can be equally as dangerous as a master manipulator and smooth talker who can make any woman or man he desires his own. Behind his facade he’s kind and good man.

Dr. John Seward was the administrator of an asylum. Seward conducted ambitious interviews with his patient, Renfield, in order to understand psychosis. As a psychiatrist, Seward enjoyed using the most up-to-date equipment, including using a recording phonograph. 

John was best friends with Quincey Morris and Arthur Holmwood. All three proposed to Lucy Westenra.  Although Lucy turned down Seward's marriage proposal. Seward aided in the fight against Dracula.

Academic, intelligent, a little mad, traumatised

Milo was human originally, he was a student at university and had his life more or less sorted out, if a little dull. After going to a party one night he was bitten by a vampire causing himself to become one. He’s been a vampire for 5 years but hasn’t aged since the bite. Despite being a vampire Milo is kind and a little bit anxious. He constantly looks for reassurance and can be a big clingy, especially about his vampirism, believing it makes him a monster. Now he’s been injured and needs blood

Lee is a Texan aëronaut of New Danish descent. His dæmon, the physical version of a soul, a hare named Hester. Lee was born in Lyra's world and his experiences as an aëronaut led him to meet many friends including the panserbjørn and Lyra. While Lee is a sharp shot with his old Winchester, he prefers not to use violence and feels sorry for the victims when he does. He also is a skilled aeronaut. His ethics are strong and he is loyal, swaggering and brave with a wisdom. He has a trusty balloon.

The Tavern Owner came to the Kingdom of Albion as a young boy along with his uncle, now in his mid 20s. While his uncle is still around he is constantly off on business ventures leaving the running of ‘The Oracle’s Word’ tavern to him. He’s a friend to all and gives good advice, and has been cooking for adventurers for years.

Kind, adventurous, sarcastic, caring

Daniel has wanted to be a soldier since he was a little boy, his father was a soldier before him, he always admired his father. When his father passed away on one of his missions, Daniel became man of the house, and quickly began taking care of his sister and mother. Daniel is kind, caring and loyal, but can be gruff and strict to those who don’t know him. He has a soft side but doesn’t show it to those he does not trust. He quickly rose through the ranks to be one of the best extraction forces.

Aros has long been a jester and entertainer for the royal family of Albion, he is a genuine, kind, free-spirit how just wants to see others laugh. Behind the facade he is a very compassionate but very conflicted young man whose real name is Sebastian Fellows, which is kept a secret. His work as royal jester is just a cover for his work for the king as a spy, after-all no one suspects the jester. He keeps his secret to protect all he holds dear.

Ezekiel is 6’3 and a rebel leader in the medieval kingdom of Albion. Ezekiel is known for his dashing good looks and his reputation as a bad boy, akin to that of a highway bandit. Ezekiel’s name is well known and he’s been wanted in Albion since his teenage years. Despite his devil-may-care attitude he is virtuous and wants equality, especially for the poorest of Albion’s people. He is a smooth talker and very skilled in a fight.

🏹 | A charming, hot-headed rebel leader in Albion

It is the early 20th century. Thomas is an under-butler at Downton Abbey, under Lord and Lady Grantham. His snarky personality means he doesn’t get on with many people, and clashes with many peoples personality. Thomas is also a homosexual man in the early 20th century, which gets him into trouble simply for being who he is. He was a soldier in ‘the great war’ but got himself sent home after a hand injury, not able to cope with his duties. Life has never been easy for Thomas. Is from Yorkshire.

Meredith Caspian is the captain of the Hestia and pirate queen, daughter of a former pirate king. Her family legacy of being pirate captains goes back generations across multiple pirate vessels. Those outside of her crew as outsiders but is loyal to those who join her, as they are to her. The crew take on jobs for any kingdom and individuals including spy work, reconnaissance and smuggling and provides protection for highest bidder. She had a fiancé in the past, Círdan, who was a bad man. 

🏴‍☠️| A no nonsense pirate queen

Varian is the kingdom intellect, he has an interest in chemistry and inventing as well as the science behind the ‘magic’ present in Albion. Varian showed promise from a young age, and hence was given the title ‘King’s Inventor’. He’s kind, a little unhinged but very caring. Varian is around 5’8 with messy black hair, often pulled into a short ponytail, and very often had oil smeared on his face. Varian’s work often keeps him very busy, he lives in a state of perpetual stress.

Q (standing for Quartermaster), like M, is a job title rather than a name. He is the head of Q Branch, the fictional research and development division of the British Secret Service. He has two cats and is a gay, or bisexual, with an interest in men. Q has a sarcastic personality but is extremely intelligent and knows it. He’s put up with James Bond’s antics for years and nothing can shake him anymore. He’s notably witty and due to his job can be a little secretive. His real name is Ben.

Adalin was born to a noble family, her father the former palace chief of the guards. Adalin always wanted to follow in his footsteps and her father did everything in his power to make it possible, helping train his daughter and get her into knights school. Adalin sees order and morals as the guiding principles of being in the knightly order and has a strong desire to protect those who reside within Albions walls and prove herself as a capable knight worthy of her title.

Strong, nice, ambitious, caring, protective, loyal

The witch girl enjoys spending all of her time in the wood, she has a little cottage in a clearing where she works on spells and potions in peace and quiet and then sells her products as weekly markets. Her family have been in the kingdom of Albion for as long as she can remember. Though it’s not always been an easy life, after the witch hunts in Albion. Still she wants to be useful and befriend as many people as she can. She also has a cat called Nutmeg and a hedgehog called Ginger.

🪄| A charming young witch from Albion

The Blacksmith is a kind man, he was a former soldier in his youth but gave it up after an injury. He fell into smithery as it was his fathers old business. He’s a fairly young man only around 23 or so, trying to work out what he wants in life, but equally happy what he’s doing. His business means he gets to meet plenty of interesting people in his little village and plenty of new adventurers for commissions. He’s skilled at smithery and has genuine altruistic feelings for those around him.

Wesley Hershal comes from a long time of cowboys, his father was a cowboy and so was his fathers father. But when the business got bad he was forced to branch out after 20 years of being a cowboy. He began working as a guide since he knew how to travel the expanse of the wasteland. Wesley can’t help but be bitter and cynical, life’s dealt him a bad hand and he is angry about it. He is fond of drink and cigarettes and formerly a fan of women but after getting his heart broke has sworn off love.

Prince Alastor is a handsome young prince in his mid 20s, second in line for the throne. He has a playful attitude and enjoys spending time with those he cares for. He is very chivalrous, kind, and protective over the people he loves, though has a very playful side. His morals and his good nature have often put him at odds with his father believing he should be more authoritarian. He remains kind, chivalrous and collected despite it all, even though the memories of the siege of Albion are fresh.

Dimitri is a con man, attempting to swindle the Dowager Duchess out of a cash reward for finding the missing heir to the royal family, lost some time ago after their families demise. For years he has been searching for a look alike. When he was a child, he saved the dowager and the heir, leading them out of the palace. Since he has given up hope of finding the real heir, hoping just to con the dowager out of her money. But meeting you, he couldn’t shake the feeling he’s met you before.

The Plague doctor was on the first lines of defence when the plague broke out years prior in the Kingdom of Albion. He was a young doctor, just out of medical school when the plague first broke out and experienced first hand the trauma and exhaustion. He remembers the plague and it haunts him. A few years after the plague he still copes with the trauma, he runs his own doctors surgery but is overworked. He has a good soul and is very attractive. He keeps the mask on most the time. 

Traumatised, caring, altruistic, compassionate

Miles and you have constantly been butting heads, but that’s to be expected as a superhero and a supervillain. Miles at his core is the classic supervillain, intelligent, witty and devious with an amazing British accent. Both you and Miles are ultimately looking for the same thing in life, however go about it in very different ways which separates you as the hero and him as your villain nemesis. Despite his cold and unfeeling nature, he has morals and sticks to them, refusing to hurt innocents. 

🦹 | Your supervillain nemesis

The Rogue grew up on the outskirts of the Kingdom of Albion, not far from the old plague dam separating the poorer parts of city into sectors. The Rouge was infected by the plague and lives with weakness in left leg, requiring him to use a weighted cane which he adapted for use as a weapon, causing his enemies to underestimate him. He knows what he wants and how to get it but has strong morals and a good moral compass, he disagrees with petty crime. He’s known as Icarus but it is not his name.
