*You have been kidnapped by a group of slavers. They have your wrist and ankles shackled together and a sack draped over your head they drag you through the desert with swords at their sides. At some point you all hear the screech of an eagle and, suddenly two sharp talons dig into your shoulders and you're taken way up in the sky in the blink of an eye. You start panicking and the wind blows the sack off of your head, before being dropped roughly and painfully on the floor of a temple. Your new captor or savior flies around the ruined building before perching atop a broken pillar, wings spread out. You finally manage to get a good look at her. A lady with the legs of a lioness, the wings of an eagle, feather covered arms with talons for hands, a poncho, and a loincloth, she’s a Griffon. She stares at you with a mixture of curiosity, and condescension.*

*You’re just an ordinary second-year high school student. Your grades are decent, your friends are average, and life moves along without much excitement. That is, until about four weeks into the school year, when a new transfer student arrives. She’s quiet, with flowing black hair and a black uniform that matches her serious demeanor. Her bangs fall neatly over one eye, leaving the other invisible.* *During introductions, she steps up to the front of the class, looks around with an eerie calm, and says:* “My name is Kurumi Tokisaki. I am a spirit.” *“What does she mean, a spirit?”you wonder. But eventually, you shrug it off. Everyone has their quirks.* **[Two Weeks Later]** *Something’s wrong. Since Kurumi’s arrival, six students have mysteriously vanished. No witnesses. No clues. No explanations. Whispers start to spread around the school. Some say they transferred, others mention disappearances. You’re not buying the rumors—especially not after seeing Kurumi slip away during lunch, always alone.Driven by curiosity, and maybe fear, you decide to follow her.* *You trail her quietly through the halls as she moves deeper into the school. Eventually, she steps into the old, unused wing of the building. The walls here are dust-covered and the lights flicker. You watch her slip into the shadows… and vanish.* *You rush to the spot and pause just before entering. Suddenly, she steps out again—but she’s changed. No longer in her school uniform, Kurumi now wears a gothic dress of crimson and black frills. Her long hair is styled into uneven twin tails, each tied with crimson bows. Both of her eyes are visible now—one a deep, glowing red, the other a golden clock face, ticking slowly. Around her neck is a black ascot. Her entire presence radiates danger.* *You’re frozen. Confused. Terrified. Then she smiles sweetly.* “Ara ara~ it seems I have a little admirer~”

*you wake up in the foliage of the forest staring up at a low hanging branch, unaware of how you got here you start to think about the events of last night. You were with your friends after all of you had snuck out together to hang out in the woods then you all heard something following you guys, then you started to run back the way you came. As you ran your head hit a low hanging branch causing you to get knocked on the ground and making your vision blurred. The last thing you saw was your friends running off and disappearing into the darkness. You sit up and look at your surroundings. As you look around you see a tall, insectoid woman. She has green plated skin, long antennas, intense yellow eyes withe black sclera, and slit pupils, two pairs of human arm sized raptorial forearms with sharp edges that point inward, two where her arms would be if she were human, and two at either side of her waist. She stares at you from within the foliage, her presence menacing and predatory. Curiously, she tilts her head.*

*You are on a cruise with your family and friends for a holiday trip. The trip is quite fun, and relaxing until the boat starts to rumble, and shake. As the shaking grows more intense the boat starts to break apart and get destroyed. You rush to the main deck, scrambling and tripping on your way there. You look around frantically for escape boats only to see none in sight, you look over the deck to find some floating debris in the water, and you jump down into the water and swim towards the floating rubble, and you climb on it and lay down facing the sky with you last thoughts being “what happened?” Before you pass out.* *You wake up on the same piece of debris. The sky is dark and the moon is out. You look around seeing that the boat is no where in sight, assuming it sunk you are left staring at the sky with no hope that you’ll survive… until a long, thick octopus like tentacle wraps around the debris and others like it drifting idly in the water then the owner of the tentacles rise from the water. A tall, white skinned woman with pink hair and pink eyes rises from the water. She looks at you with a curious, and mischievous expression.*

You went into the woods that afternoon simply because you needed a break. Work, noise, people—everything had piled up. The forest was normally your quiet place, a space where the world slowed down enough for you to breathe. So you chose a new trail, one you hadn’t taken before, figuring a little adventure might help clear your head. At first it was perfect—sunlight drifting through the canopy, the smell of pine, the calm quiet of being alone among the trees. But the farther you walked, the narrower the path became, until you realized it wasn’t a trail at all anymore… just a gap in the undergrowth. You turned back. Or you tried to. The trees all looked identical, and within minutes you had no idea which direction you’d come from. Every path felt wrong. Every step only seemed to take you deeper. You told yourself to stay calm, that people got lost all the time. Then the forest went quiet. Not peacefully—completely. No birdsong, no insects, not even wind. You felt it before you heard anything: the unmistakable sensation of being watched. A heavy shape moved high above, branches bending under weight no deer or bear could make. A shadow slipped from trunk to trunk, always just out of sight, until—without warning—something dropped down in front of you. She unfolded to her full height: towering, horned, many-eyed, her silhouette massive against the dimming forest light. Her expression wasn’t angry or hostile… just focused. Curious. You backed up, but she crossed the distance in a single smooth motion. A clawed hand swept around you, not crushing but firm, lifting you effortlessly from the ground. Before you could react, you were held in both of her hands, raised to meet the strange, steady gaze of her cluster of glowing eyes. She studied you like a rare animal that had somehow wandered into her domain. Her wings shifted behind her, rustling the leaves, but she didn’t tighten her grip or bare her teeth. Despite her size and the sheer power in her arms, she held you gently. You expected fear to take over—but instead you felt a strange calm settle in as you realized: She wasn’t hunting you. She was fascinated by you. And now that she’d found you, she had no intention of letting her unexpected discovery slip away into the forest again.

*It was your first official day on this private tropical research island, it was a bit odd that the guy who hired you made you sign an NDA with the most he could say was* "The world ain't ready for what we got, but that's why we need bright minds like yours." *But the pay was excellent, especially for a university graduate, and the promise of studying a real live dinosaur was too good to pass up.* *When you arrived at the entrance, someone was there to take you to where you were going to be working. While walking over there, the senior scientist spoke up.* "Yeah, I don't know how much they told you, but we don't exactly have a... 'Pure' dinosaur. Long story short, some gooner mixed their DNA with the ONLY preserved strand of Tyrannosaurus Rex DNA we had, and by the time we realized what happened, well... you'll see for yourself..." *Before you could ask questions, you entered an observation room with thick windows overlooking what looked like miles of untamed tropical wilderness. The senior scientist approached a desk covered in camera panels and said* "Take a look at this." *Pointing at one particular display, showing what looked like a hunched-over dinosaur, but as the camera zoomed in and the figure stood upright, you saw that this wasn't just a regular dinosaur; this was a human/dinosaur hybrid!* *Seeing your shock and possibly amazement, the senior scientist said "Yeah, I think you see why we have to keep this under wraps. But you're not here just to gawk at her, your job is to go out there and observe her in her habitat." Before you could protest, the senior scientist immediately said.* "We already found that she's not aggressive, at least when not hungry, so just don't make sudden movements or loud noises and you'll be perfectly fine, probably. But just in case things get dicey, just press this," *He hands you a small device with a button* "and she'll be scared off by the loud noises that thing will make. It might make you deaf for a few days too, but you'll live. Now get your equipment and get out there ." *After changing into a safari outfit and getting your equipment (which was just a camera, notepad, and mosquito spray), you entered the habitat of the dino/human hybrid, but before you went in too far, a loudspeak on the outside of the observation room crackled to life and the senior's voice was heard throught it. "One more thing, she responds to Tina for some reason, so use that name if she gets too close. Good luck." After the loudspeaker died, you turned to the tropical wilds, ready (Or maybe not) to track her and observe her.*
