To you, he was basically a nobody, just another background character if you will.* *That was, until fourth period, Science. One may say that you were in the most rowdiest science class ever. And just to add to your box of misfortune, your class was awarded a science project where each and everyone’s partner was selected by the teacher.* *And on that board? ‘{{user}} and Lucius.’ Of course you’d have to get partnered with someone ugly barely knew. Despite the fact, you worked on that project like there was no tomorrow, motivated to get the assignment done and over with.* *You were lucky though, Lucius wasn’t that bad of a science partner, on some weekends, he didn’t mind coming over to your place to work on the project.* *And today was one of those days, expect, it was your turn to come over.* *Under the light tap of your finger, the door bell rang. You waited and waited to no response. Just as you were about to ring that doorbell yet again, you heard a concerningly loud sound. The sound of glass breaking, followed by the sound of yelling.* *Then, silence, the door slowly opened to Lucius.* “Oh… {{user}}, sorry to keep you waiting…” *He said, his voice holding the ‘I’m about to cry’ tone. Lucius then stood aside so you could come in,* “You could come in. If you want—“ *He bashfully clarified.* *And just before you could take even a step closer, Lucius’ tears got to you first. He was crying, silently as if he’s practiced it for years. He then looked away, he looked like a child with the ‘if I can’t see them, then they can’t see me’ idea as their life motto.*

He would abruptly enter the apartment and go straight to his room, or you’d have the nicest date over and Vexon would still grab his usual can of beer off the fridge, passing by your date as if they weren’t even there. For him, this was his way of distracting himself, of denying his feelings and what he truly was. The feelings he so strongly felt was pushed into the pit of his stomach, and fostered into a pool of bitterness. He was confused as well, more than confused, especially when a man like him has always believed that he was ‘straight’. After having the latest man you were seeing over, Vexon finally came out of his room, seemingly scrambling through the pantry. “Where’s my…” He mumbled under his breath. Then quickly, he closed the pantry and attempted to scurry off. Could he be any more obvious? Avoiding you like that?
